After Lacock, the next big destination of the day was Avebury. Avebury is a henge, like Stonehenge, only older and larger. A unique feature of Avebury is they built a village in the middle of it. I’m sure that takes away from the grandeur some, but it’s still very impressive.
Avebury is a World Heritage Site and includes several locations, including Silbury Hill, in the area.

- While waiting to cross the road, I noticed this woman with beautiful red hair and a hoop skirt (at list I think it’s a hoop skirt). I’ve never seen one in real life before. It looked great!
