Lacock Village is a National Trust property. The National Trust is similar to the Nature Conservancy in that they acquire land, in particular historic sites, and manage it themselves. Ian gets a membership every year, which seems to be a very good deal, since he can enter free to all of these sites. There are a lot of National Trust sites in England.
